Nature - Oscillator

The world around us is an endless source of visual information, the flow of the fractal code of life. Nature - Oscillator is one of the attempts to translate this code to sound, using spectral synthesis algorithm of the Virtual ANS engine (software simulator of the unique Russian synthesizer ANS). The program continuously reads the image from the camera and interprets it as the spectrum of the sound.

Open XM/MOD in SunVox

Don't forget that a huge amount of oldschool XM/MOD music files (FastTracker, ProTracker, OctaMED, etc.) can now be opened with SunVox!
Thousands of these files can be found on the biggest Mod Archive in the world!
For iOS users: just open Mod Archive in the browser, select some module and press Open in SunVox button.

SunVox v1.7.5

SunVox v1.7.5 is out!

What is new:

• iOS: 64bit CPU support;
• iOS: SunVox file type association: now any SunVox-compatible documents (sunvox, midi, xm, mod) can be opened from other apps (Mail, Browser, etc.);
• new module - Pitch Shifter;
• shortcut configuration (key redefinition) window has been added to the Main Menu -> Preferences -> Interface;
• customizable curve of the values has been added to MultiCtl module;
• MIDI Octave Offset option has been added to the MIDI Preferences;
• avconv (libav) support on systems without ffmpeg;
• PR (Set note period) command has been renamed to SP (Set pitch);
• main menu has been divided into two separate menus: the Main Menu (left side) and the Pattern Menu (right side);
• UI design slightly changed;
• Play (F9) shortcut has been changed to Play/Stop;

SunVox Dynamic Library has been updated to v1.7.5.
With this library anyone can play SunVox music and synths in their own iOS/Android/Windows/Linux/OSX applications.

•  iOS: engine is now optimized for true 32-bit sound on Apple A6 and higher CPUs;
•  new example for Linux and OSX: test5.cpp (SunVox audio export to the file);

What is it?

• format of graphical representation of the sound (music, human voice, etc.); in other words, it is the 2D audio barcode (by analogy with the QR-code);
• real-time PhonoPaper-code reader (using the camera);
• PhonoPaper-code generator (sound to image converter).

Current version is only available for Android.
iOS version is on the way.
Other systems support is in my near plans.
